Sanctum — Terms of service

What this is

Sanctum is an automated moderation service for Instagram Professional accounts. After you connect your account, Sanctum receives new comments via Meta webhooks, classifies them, and hides (never deletes) comments classified as high-confidence toxic.

What you agree to

• You will connect only Instagram accounts you control or are authorised to moderate.
• You understand the classifier is imperfect and can miss toxic comments or flag legitimate ones. The action is hide, which is reversible.
• You will not use this service to suppress lawful speech, target specific individuals for harassment, or violate Meta's Platform Terms.

What we agree to

• Best-effort availability; no uptime guarantees during the MVP phase.
• No selling, sharing, or training on the comment text we process.
• Comment text is retained for 60 days for audit purposes, then purged automatically.
• Following the privacy policy on retention and deletion.

Liability

This service is provided as-is, without warranties. We are not liable for missed hate, over-blocked comments, or any consequences arising from the use of the service.

Changes

Material changes will be reflected here. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
